    Accessibility Statement

    • besgroup.it
    • April 1, 2026

    Compliance status

We firmly believe that the Internet should be available and accessible to everyone, and we are committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of circumstances or abilities.

To achieve this goal, we strive to adhere as strictly as possible to the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 (WCAG 2.1) at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities. Adhering to these guidelines helps us ensure that the website is accessible to everyone: people who are blind, have mobility disabilities, have low vision, have cognitive disabilities, and many others.

This site uses various technologies designed to make it as accessible as possible at all times. We use an accessibility interface that allows people with specific disabilities to adapt the site's user interface (UI) and customize it to their needs.

Additionally, the site uses an artificial intelligence-based application that runs in the background and constantly optimizes accessibility. This application corrects the site's HTML, adapts functionality and behavior for screen readers used by blind people, and for keyboard functions used by people with motor disabilities.

If you've encountered a glitch or have suggestions for improvement, we'd be happy to hear from you. You can contact the site managers using the following email address: direzione@hotelbes.com

    Screen readers and keyboard navigation

Our site implements the ARIA (Accessible Rich Internet Applications) attribute technique, along with several behavioral changes, to ensure that blind users who use screen readers can read, understand, and use the site's features. As soon as a screen reader user accesses the site, they are immediately prompted to enter their Screen Reader Profile, allowing them to navigate and interact effectively with the site. Here's how our site meets some of the key needs of screen readers, with code examples from the console:

    1. Screen reader optimization: We run a background process that analyzes every component of the site from top to bottom to ensure compliance even after updates. During this process, we provide screen readers with meaningful data via ARIA attributes. For example: accurate labels in forms; descriptions for interactive icons (social, search, cart, etc.); validation guidance in form fields; and roles for elements such as buttons, menus, modal windows (pop-ups), etc. Additionally, the process scans all images on the site, providing object-recognition-based text descriptions as ALT tags for undescribed images. Text within images is also extracted using OCR (optical character recognition) technology. To activate screen reader adaptations at any time, simply press Alt+1. Users will also receive an automatic prompt upon entering the site to activate Screen Reader mode.

These features are compatible with all popular screen readers, including JAWS and NVDA.

    2. Optimized for keyboard navigation: The background process modifies the site's HTML and adds various behaviors via JavaScript to make it keyboard-navigable. This includes the ability to navigate with the Tab and Shift+Tab keys, open drop-down menus with the arrow keys and close them with Esc, activate buttons and links with Enter, navigate between radio elements and checkboxes with the arrow keys, and select them with the spacebar or Enter. Keyboard users also find quick navigation and skip-to-content menus, always accessible with Alt+1 or as the first elements on the site during navigation. The process also handles pop-ups by moving the keyboard focus to them as soon as they open, preventing the focus from leaving the active element.

Users can also use shortcuts such as “M” (menus), “H” (headings), “F” (forms), “B” (buttons), and “G” (images) to jump directly to desired elements.

Disability profiles supported by our site

    • Epilepsy Safe Mode: This profile allows people with epilepsy to browse safely by eliminating the risk of seizures caused by flashing animations or dangerous color combinations.
    • Visually impaired mode: This mode makes the site suitable for people with visual problems such as poor vision, tunnel vision, cataracts, glaucoma, etc.
    • Cognitive Disability Mode: offers assistive options for users with cognitive disabilities such as dyslexia, autism, stroke (CVA), etc., to make it easier to focus on the essential elements of the site.
    • ADHD Friendly Mode: helps users with ADHD and neurodevelopmental disorders read, navigate, and focus on key elements more easily by reducing distractions.
    • Blind Mode: Configure your site to be compatible with screen readers such as JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver, and TalkBack. A screen reader is software for the blind installed on a computer or smartphone, and websites must be compatible with it.
    • Keyboard Navigation Profile (Motor Disabilities): Allows people with motor disabilities to use the site with the Tab, Shift+Tab, and Enter keys. Shortcuts such as “M” (menus), “H” (headings), “F” (forms), “B” (buttons), and “G” (graphics) can also be used.

Additional UI, design and readability adjustments

    1. Font Adjustments – Users can increase or decrease the text size, change its typeface, modify spacing, alignment, line height, and more.
    2. Color adjustments – Users can choose different contrast profiles such as light, dark, inverted, and monochrome. They can also change color schemes for titles, text, and backgrounds, with over seven options available.
    3. Animations – Epilepsy sufferers can disable all running animations with a single click. Controlled animations include videos, GIFs, and flashing CSS transitions.
    4. Content Highlighting – You can highlight important elements such as links and titles, or just active or selected ones.
    5. Mute – Users with hearing aids may experience discomfort with automatic audio. This feature allows you to instantly mute the entire site.
    6. Cognitive disorders – We use a search engine linked to Wikipedia and Wiktionary to help people understand the meanings of phrases, abbreviations, slang, and more.
    7. Additional functions – ability to change cursor color and size, activate a print mode, virtual keyboard and many other features.

    Browser and assistive technology compatibility

We aim to support as many browsers and assistive technologies as possible, so users can freely choose the tools that best suit their needs, with the fewest limitations. To this end, we've worked hard to ensure compatibility with all major systems, covering more than 95% on the market: Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Opera, Microsoft Edge, JAWS, and NVDA.

    Notes, comments and feedback

Despite our best efforts to allow everyone to customize the site to their needs, there may still be pages or sections that are not fully accessible, are undergoing upgrades, or temporarily lack adequate technological solutions. However, we continue to constantly improve accessibility, updating features and adopting new technologies to achieve the best possible level.
